THE SPOTS !  
Tramontana-Windsurf is mainly located at the edge of the saltwater lake "L'Etang d'Ingril" in Frontignan-Plage. The shallow lake offers ideal conditions for beginners, intermediates, speed-surfers and freestylers. The sandy beaches of the Mediterranean are only 5 minutes away from us too. There are also many restaurants, shops and a great choice of accommodation very close and accessible by foot!

Due to our mobile windsurfing school we are able to change the spot to teach always in the best conditions. Especially in line with our intensive courses we don't hesitate to move to another beach, if there are better conditions than in Frontignan-Plage. Of course the safeness of all students is the most important and we only choose spots which are adapted to your level!

The "Etang d'Ingril" is the best flatwater spot in our region.

The famous wind at our spot is the Tramontana. This 

north-western wind is accelerated by the mountainous 

environment and is strongest in spring and autumn, 

which is great for all competent windsurfers. 

Beginners may also have fun during these periods of the year, 

as the wind is lighter and more manageable in the morning. 

Futhermore, our center is situated in the leeward direction 

and the wind always carrys you back to the shore!
In summertime we enjoy the thermal wind, which reaches up
to 4 beaufort on hot days. In the morning beginners find perfect
conditions to improve.
If the wind will be too less for our intensive courses to learn the
carving gybe for example, we always can move to another spot
with better wind conditions.
