Mirco
was born as a child of a
windsurfer.
He has grown up in the North of
Germany close to the North Sea, where he discovered windsurfing at the
age of 11. Immediately he really liked this sport, which hasn't changed
to this day! He studied industrial engineering and management in
Wilhelmshaven, which is also located very close to the sea.

Already
during his studies, Mirco was working as windsurf instructor.
He often spent his summer holidays on Norderney, a German island with
great windsurfing conditions. Later he also worked for the Harry Nass
Surf & Action Center in Dahab, Egypt and in Naxos, Greece. He gained more experience
in
the South of France before opening his own windsurfing center: Tramontana-Windsurf! |

Mélanie was born in Thonon les bains
in the French Alpes, where skiing is definitely more popular than
windsurfing. When she was 9 years old, she took windsurfing lessons in
her summer holidays. From then on, she was on the water as often as
possible, even on the Lake Geneva, where the wind is not always the
best. |

Mélanie has worked as windsurf
instructor for 10 years. Besides windsurfing, she also
gave lessons on sailing boats and catamarans. She took part in competitions, too. Now, she is knowledgeable of the whole of the Mediterranean
and Atlantic coast.
Since finishing her studies of management of sports in Montpellier,
she started windsurfing in Frontignan-Plage. From that first day, she was sure that this will be THE place to create her own windsurfing center! |
